Since 2018, we have been creating thoughtfully curated food experiences that blend culinary creativity, elevated presentation, and genuine connection.
Every menu is crafted in our chef kitchen using fresh, high-quality ingredients, then carefully styled to reflect the unique vision of each event. I'm Lori Van Tassell, founder and owner of Van & Co. Catering.
My career in hospitality spans decades, with experience ranging from serving and management to restaurant ownership. While I've always loved the fast-paced world of food service, I found myself drawn to the creative side of hospitality—the art of bringing people together through thoughtfully prepared food and beautifully styled experiences.
In 2018, that vision became Van & Co.
What started with a simple idea—to create modern, elevated food displays unlike anything being offered locally—quickly evolved into something much bigger.
Van & Co. became the first grazing company in Atlantic Canada, helping introduce a new style of entertaining that continues to inspire gatherings across the region today.
Over the years, we've grown into a talented team of passionate individuals who share the same commitment to quality, creativity, and exceptional service. Together, we work to ensure every event feels personal, seamless, and unforgettable.
Watching this business grow from an idea into a trusted brand has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am deeply grateful for the clients who have supported us along the way and continue to invite us into their celebrations.
